Low Cost Launch System - Mass Driver

In a near future where humanity has begun its exodus to the stars in search of resources, a cheaper alternative for orbital launches was needed. Thus the greatest minds began work on a platform that could launch spacecraft using only minimal natural resources. In doing so, they designed a sling shot that could launch using a gravity assist and only a small amount of fuel. These launch ports would be traveled by thousands of people daily, each looking for new opportunity among the stars.
